Launched in 2009, the Aeroturn was the last range of machines we built new. It was designed as a faster, lighter-duty machine than the Millennium. Even with linear guideways, it proved to be a very powerful machine for precision turning, milling and grinding.
The twin-ram Aeroturn
The first Aeroturn was a single-ram machine. At the request of a very important German valve maker, we developed a second machine with two rams. One carries a special swivelling grinding spindle. The standard ram drills the holes as well as turning.
It was a full turnkey project, including fixtures and programs, and quite a difficult installation into a tight space.
