What we collect

  • Enquiries: when you use our contact form, email or phone us, we receive your name, company, contact details and the details of your enquiry.
  • Customer and supplier records: contact details and correspondence needed to quote for, supply and support machines, parts and services.
  • Website use: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type). See our cookie policy.

Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and provide quotations: our legitimate interests in responding to you, or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.
  • To supply and support machines, parts and services: performance of a contract.
  • To keep business, tax and accounting records: legal obligation.
  • To understand and improve how our website is used: your consent (analytics cookies), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, such as our website host, our email provider and Google (Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies). We may share information with professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, it is protected by approved safeguards such as the UK–US Data Bridge or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted within 2 years. Customer records are kept for as long as needed to support the machines and services we supplied and to meet legal and accounting requirements (normally 6 years after the end of the relationship). Detailed Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months; anonymous summary reports are kept longer.

Your rights

You can ask to see a copy of your information, to correct it, and in some circumstances to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its use, or to transfer it. You can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. To make a request, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
